Currumbin Lookouts
Elephant Rock Lookout and Currumbin Rock that guards the entrance to Currumbin Creek, these huge rock formations would have to be the most photographed rock formations on the Gold Coast. They have been used for backdrops from television commercials, films and sporting events. Early morning and late afternoon seem to be the best time to enjoy this location. Access to Elephant Rock Lookout is behind Vikings Surf Live Saving Club and worth the climb up the narrow concrete stairs, views north and south are picture perfect.
Currumbin Alley one of the famous breaks on Australia’s Gold Coast is a popular spot for novice surfers in the shallows and experience surfers on the point.
